Woven Together

Our Ice Cream Social in August was much fun, and though the sky threatened rain kids and adults alike had fun playing outside and catching up after the summer break.  Oh, and the ice cream sundaes were delicious! 

On Tuesday September 2 we will be hosting Mike Kenney from the Waiting Child Fund, which seeks to raise awareness for foster children who are aging out of the system.  The numbers and photos of waiting children are compelling.  If you would like a preview, the website of the foundation is www.waitingchildfund.org 

Remember that childcare is provided.  If you will need childcare, please email info@woventogether.org with your name, along with the NAMES and AGES of your children who will be attending.  This will help very much with our planning.  Thank you.
